Prince Andrew, the younger brother of King Charles III, has become embroiled in a new scandal involving an alleged Chinese spy. The businessman, identified only as "H6" for legal reasons, gained significant trust from the Duke of York, reportedly even acting on his behalf in an international financial initiative related to China. Court documents reveal that H6 had such a close relationship with Prince Andrew that he was invited to the Duke's birthday party and granted access to Buckingham Palace.

H6, who was later banned from the UK for his alleged covert activities on behalf of the United Front Work Department (UFWD) of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), had used his connections to gain access to other royal residences and met with two former British prime ministers, David Cameron and Theresa May. Despite these associations, Prince Andrew's office issued a rare statement, insisting that the Duke "ceased all contact" with the businessman once concerns were raised, adding that no sensitive information was ever shared.

Prince Andrew's involvement in this controversy comes after years of scrutiny over his ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. In 2019, he stepped down from royal duties due to the ongoing scandal surrounding his relationship with Epstein, and he later reached a settlement in a civil sexual assault case brought by Virginia Giuffre, one of Epstein's accusers.
