TTD Receives Rs. 1,365 Crore in Donations in 2024, 2.55 Crore Devotees Visit Tirumala

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has reported an impressive Rs. 1,365 crore in Hundi donations for the year 2024. The temple saw a significant number of pilgrims, with 2.55 crore devotees visiting the holy site. A remarkable 99 lakh devotees participated in the tradition of tonsuring their heads as an offering to Lord Venkateswara. TTD also ensured the spiritual nourishment of the devotees, with 6.30 crore serving of Anna Prasadam, a free meal provided to pilgrims. In addition, 12.14 crore laddus, a popular offering at the temple, were sold, further highlighting the immense religious activity and devotion surrounding the shrine.

These statistics reflect the ongoing faith and devotion of millions of devotees who continue to visit the Tirumala temple, making it one of the most visited religious sites in the world. The donations and the offerings serve as a testament to the temple's significant role in both religious and charitable activities in Andhra Pradesh.
