Confirmed: Jana Sena gets official symbol from EC

The Central Election Commission is preparing the ground for the Andhra Pradesh elections and the commission has now started to issue the election symbols for the parties that are not yet recognized by the EC.

On a related note, the EC confirmed that the Jana Sena party has been confirmed the glass symbol. A hard copy of the authorization of the election symbol was sent to the legal division of JSP today. A soft copy was e-mailed to the party. 

JSP will now be contesting on the glass symbol in Andhra Pradesh, much similar to how it got the same symbol in the recent Telangana elections. 

JSP will be contesting in alliance with Telugu Desam Party in Andhra Pradesh and with the announcement of the election symbol, the party is getting into the election mood with a good positive swing. 

As a part of the alliance, JSP is likely to contest in over 35 MLA segments across Andhra Pradesh. An official word on the actual number of the seats will be out soon.
