Former YCP minister Jogi Ramesh has encountered significant legal troubles following a police summons related to an attack on Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s residence. This development comes as Jogi Ramesh faces questions about his involvement in the attack, including who accompanied him and the identities of those who orchestrated it. The police are keen to establish the extent of Ramesh’s involvement and his role in the attack.

In addition to the police summons, Jogi Ramesh’s son, Rajeev, has been arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in connection with a case involving disproportionate assets tied to Agrigold lands. The ACB is investigating the fraudulent sale of these lands, involving multiple parties including government officials who allegedly facilitated the illegal transactions. Rajeev is accused of making a profit from selling litigant lands obtained through falsified documents.

The legal proceedings are further complicated by the High Court's impending hearings on bail petitions filed by YCP leaders implicated in the attack on the TDP headquarters. Among those seeking anticipatory bail are YCP MLCs Appireddy, Talasila, Devineni Avinash, and Nandigama Suresh. The court’s decisions and ongoing investigations will shape the future legal landscape for all involved parties.
