- Trump, KamalaHarris
Throughout American history, no president or presidential candidate has ever spoken about India the way Donald Trump did during his campaign:
"I am a big fan of Hindus and a big fan of India… Let me tell you, if I am elected as president, a true friend of Indians and Hindus will be in the White House, you can be sure of that. (For decades) generations of Indians and Hindus living in America have made this country powerful, a strength beyond anyone’s imagination. Through their hard work, education, and courageous spirit, they have brought great prosperity to America. But we all know that prosperity cannot survive without safety and security. That’s why we value our beloved friend, India, which has stood with America in the fight against fanatic Islamic terrorism."
Trump made these statements during a public event with Indians and Hindus living in America. No American leader has ever taken such a stance. Did Trump say these words simply to please Indians and Hindus? If so, why didn’t Kamala Harris say them? Why didn’t Joe Biden in 2020, or Hillary Clinton in 2016? Why didn’t Barack Obama say it in 2012 or 2008?
Trump’s words and actions reveal his genuine care for the interests of Indians and Hindus, unlike Kamala, Biden, Hillary, Obama, and other left-leaning Democrats.
Though Kamala Harris’s mother is an Indian Hindu, and her father is Black from Jamaica, she identifies as half Black and half American instead of acknowledging her Indian heritage. It’s almost as if she’s ashamed of her mother’s Hindu background.
In contrast, Trump’s 40-year-old vice president, J.D. Vance, is married to Usha, whose parents emigrated from Andhra Pradesh to America in 1980. Another likely cabinet member, Tulsi Gabbard, was not born to Hindu parents, but her mother embraced Hinduism deeply, naming her children in Hindu tradition and instilling them with yoga, the Bhagavad Gita, and Vaishnava teachings. Tulsi adopted Hinduism as her own as a teenager. Another close ally of Trump, Vivek Ramaswamy, is the son of Tamil Brahmin parents from Kerala.
This information is worth sharing for those who call Kamala Harris an Indian woman. For every Indian and Hindu, Trump’s victory is worth celebrating.
Kamala Harris’s defeat has quieted leftist voices in America and India. The so-called liberals, secularists, and intellectuals who often harm society through misguided ideas are momentarily silenced. Had Kamala Harris won, these groups would be celebrating, disparaging Hindus, Indians, and American Republicans.
A Kamala Harris victory could have had severe repercussions for the U.S., despite its many strengths. Over the past four years, the Democrats have allowed illegal immigration to thrive, spending taxpayer money on benefits for non-citizens, and even permitting voting without proper identification. Trump’s administration intends to impose necessary restrictions. In his first term, Trump made a major push to build a border wall between Mexico and Texas, a move Democrats dismissed as a waste of taxpayer funds.
Under Kamala and her leftist allies, crime-ridden slums have emerged in once-thriving American cities to shelter criminal elements and illegal immigrants. Shockingly, San Francisco has developed slums. California’s Democratic government has essentially legalized shoplifting by enacting laws that prevent prosecution for thefts under $950, enabling looting to go unchecked. With Trump in power, there is hope for the restoration of law and order.
Kamala and her supporters have fostered cultural extremism under the guise of LGBT rights, misleading young people. Even public figures like Elon Musk have spoken about the negative impact on their children. Trump’s administration aims to curb this cultural overreach.
In the last four years, mainstream media in America has lost credibility, according to Elon Musk, who calls it the “legacy media.” Newspapers like the New York Times, the Washington Post, and TV channels like ABC and CNN once commanded respect but have become highly biased, particularly against Trump. When a sniper attempted to assassinate Trump, grazing his ear with a bullet, the American media largely downplayed the incident, with 95% of reports claiming it was a stunt for sympathy. Such irrational bias has eroded public trust.
To counteract leftist-driven media narratives, Elon Musk acquired Twitter in October 2022, rebranding it as X. Musk’s vision was to create an independent platform, free from left-leaning influences. Had Kamala Harris won, her administration might have retaliated by targeting Musk’s businesses, even revoking his immigration status. Musk took a significant risk with this move. While his net worth stands at $251 billion, Kamala’s government could have bankrupted him.
This unprecedented election holds lessons for India as well. As Trump stated in his victory speech, this was not just an election but a “movement,” a “revolution” to reclaim the country from leftist control.
The next four years will be a crucial time for America. Trump faces a challenging task ahead. Although Modi holds power in India, leftists still wield significant influence within the system. Similarly, Trump will have to contend with institutional resistance in America.
