Recently, an AI-generated video featuring imagined versions of the Squid Game heroes went viral, capturing people's attention with its lifelike combinations. But the impact of AI is not confined to videos—it's also making waves in music production.

A recent example of AI in music is seen in the song Jaragandi Jaragandi from the movie Game Changer. The song, initially leaked with poor audio quality, was later re-recorded by a Hyderabadi singer named Hanuman. AI was then used to recreate the song as if Daler Mehndi had sung it, resulting in a rendition so realistic that listeners believed it to be the original artist’s voice.

The use of AI in music, while innovative, raised no concerns about copyright as proper permissions were secured for the experiment. This is not the first time AI has been used in music; A.R. Rahman had conducted a similar experiment earlier.

Despite the initial challenges with the song’s leak, Jaragandi Jaragandi is expected to be a standout in Game Changer.
